About Veronica Mountain CPDT-KA
Veronica is the manager of Training and Behavior at the Stow location. She has had a passion for positive reinforcement training since rescuing her Border Collie mix, Benjamin, 9 years ago. She holds a B.S. in Biology from Kent State University, and her studies concentrated on organismal biology and behavior. Veronica’s knowledge of wildlife behavior gives her a solid foundation in reading body language. Combined with her experience working at a dog daycare and frequent dog park visits, she is well versed in assessing dog play. She heads our cat training and behavior division.
You'll see Veronica at the training center frequently, as she teaches several classes per week, referees our puppy and teen socials, and works with clients privately. She brings an unprecedented passion, uncompromising ethical standards for animal care and astute understanding of the science of animal learning to the team.
